It's been a few weeks since my last post so will rewind to the final week of June - Week 4.
As we headed into the final week of June, which is also my busiest month at work, I was chained to my desk for the best part of the week. So, it was a slow training week.
After the crazy rain and wind, I replaced my run with a spin class – a fast-paced, high-intensity 30-minute spin class. Nothing exciting, but another glamour shot of me mid-session! Sexy, right? (what a massive head!)
Friday, I dragged myself out of the house for my longer run – I clocked 8km, and the only motivation was the reward of a delicious meal and some amazing red wine at my WBFF's house to celebrate EOFY later that night.
Saturday was a total write-off, but I came good on Sunday for a swim at Clovelly. And what a day it was! Accompanied this week by Ribz, newcomer Travel Man Forster, and a larger group of mates celebrating monthly birthdays. 1.2km in the icy waters, but I spotted Bluey in the far corner, which made for a super swim!
Too cold for some - but at lease he got his toes wet.
The Boyz! Birthday month!
The water is so beautiful.
